My first stage? My grandma’s kitchen. I was eight. My first paid solo contract? At the Graz opera house. I was eleven. It was great getting time off school for theatre rehearsals. I went to the Hochschule (today the University of Music and Performing Arts) when I was 16. There followed various roles, a move to Vienna, graduation, tours, years abroad. I am grateful and remain … a child of the theatre. My interests? People and what motivates them. One of my callings is to share my knowledge and my experiences with them. To see them developing gives me great pleasure. It lets me grow too.
